| After celebrating their third Christmas together with visits to folks, Colin suggested a romantic weekend for just the two of them in Whitefish, Montana. After an awesome day of skiing (that winter was an awesome ski year in case you were interested!), Colin suggested an evening snowshoe under the stars. Amberly, who had often thought snowshoeing would be romantic unsuspectingly agreed. After an appropriate interval of snowshoeing, Colin turned to Amberly and said “I didn’t just bring you out here to snowshoe.” Amberly figured he was either going to knock her off and bury her in the snow, or propose…luckily Colin’s intention was the latter. Getting down on one knee, he fumbled in his pocket and pulled out a box with the words “will you marry me?” Amberly, with tears in her eyes immediately said “yes”, they kissed romantically, and then Amberly pulled back and demanded to see the ring before saying yes for sure. Luckily Colin designed an amazing ring and Amberly has been wearing it ever since (correct size too!). |
