| Many of our guests, especially the groom’s family and friends, have not been to the East Kootenay area. To help make your trip easier we’ve compiled some trip options. If you are pressed for time flying will be your best option. However if you have the time we would recommend driving, taking the North Route one way and the South Route the other. |

| Flying directly into Cranbrook |
| Direct flights are available to Cranbrook from Calgary or Vancouver with Air Canada. Although this would likely be the fastest option, flights into Cranbrook can be relatively expensive. Furthermore, you would not get the chance to experience the wonderful sites and things to do on the drive out to Cranbrook! |
| |
| Driving the North Route |
| This route may take you longer then the South Route, however, it will mainly be due to the breathtaking mountain views, frequent encounters with rocky mountain animals and natural hot springs. From east to west, we would recommend you consider stopping at: |
|
|
From Calgary, take Hwy 1 west (154 km).
Take exit to Hwy 93 South (104 km). Turn left on to Hwy 93/95 South (103 km). For a map click here. |

| Driving the South Route |
| Rolling through the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and the treacherous corners by Fernie Mountain, this is our favourite route to Cranbrook! From east to west, we would recommend you consider stopping at: |
|
|
From Calgary, take Deerfoot Trail/ Hwy 2 South.
Take Exit 222 to Okotoks. Follow the main road through Okotoks and turn Right on Hwy 7. After 20km turn left at the 4-way stop in Black Diamond onto Hwy 22 to Longview. Follow Hwy 22 through the Rocky Mountain foothills for 110km (note there is no gas after Longview!). Turn right on Hwy3 (t-intersection). Follow Hwy 3 for 166km through Sparwood and Fernie and then into Cranbrook. If you are travelling to the Bull River Ranch from Calgary refer to the Directions section as you will turn at the Galloway Mill. For a map - Click here. |
